WhatsApp has made it easier for users to engage in group voice chats with a new design update. This update includes a button that quickly activates the feature, encouraging users to use it more frequently. The new feature is currently only available in the latest beta version for Android (2.24.25.22).
WhatsApp makes it easier to have group voice calls
The most recent beta version of WhatsApp for Android includes a new voice chat button located above the message bar, making it easier for users to quickly initiate group conversations, according to WABetaInfo.
With the update, the messenger has enhanced visibility for voice chats in groups, making it easier for more members to be aware of them without having to access the group information menu or the top bar feature.

Group voice chat does not alert all users in the same way as calls do, providing a more discreet notification to members about ongoing conversations.
The new feature is currently accessible to a limited number of users testing the beta version of WhatsApp for Android. If the tests conducted by the messenger team go smoothly, the feature may be released to all users on the stable channel in the near future.
