Additionally, the contrast has been enhanced to 2500:1, resulting in deeper blacks compared to the prior model’s 1000:1 ratio. The response time of 1 ms (MPRT) remains unchanged, ensuring smooth movements with no blur.
The Odyssey G5 2025 offers a 165 Hz refresh rate, making it perfect for competitive gaming. It supports AMD FreeSync with VRR to prevent screen tearing and is compatible with NVIDIA graphics cards, although it lacks the FreeSync Premium feature found in the previous model.
The new Odyssey G5 has made enhancements, but it also includes some reductions.
